Joint Venture with topfen.net

Grissu.org and topfen.net side by side!

Starting in February 2008 Grissu.org and topfen.net will join their forces, power and knowledge to provide simple yet effective and valuable appliances for the communty.

The first step will be the migration of various services like the Grissu.org Website to centralized topfen.nett server systems. On the other hand the topfen.net servers itself will use the Internet connectivity of Grissu.org, provided by the Austrian Internet provider Cyberservice.

On this occasion Grissu.org will switch its Content Management System (CMS) from Joomla to Drupal due to its superior and 'cleaner' system architecture.

topfen.net is a friendly and mostly harmless initiative of three friends located in Austria who wanted to be permanently present in the Internet of 2001. Today they are hosting many non-profit projects and appliances of a community of friends and therefore actively preserve the independent and diverse nature of the Internet.
