Wenn das durchgeht dasnn funktioniert mein Weblog-Client ;)

Heute habe ich eine Nabelschnur durchschnitten. Also eigentlich habe ich sie nur gekürzt, den der daran hängene Bursche wurde natürlich schon im OP abgenabelt. Trotzdem ein tolles Erlebnis, so ein "frisches" Neugeborenes abzurubbeln.

Und was hat er gesagt? Erst gar nichts und dann folgte ein überzeugendes "bähhhhhh" und strampeln mit seinen rot-bläulichen Armen und Beinen :-)

Die erste Woche des Kinder-Tertials ist vorüber, Zeit eine Zwischenbilanz zu ziehen. Eiegntlich kann ich es kurz machen, die Vortragenden waren sehr bemüht und die klinischen Praktika durchwegs interessant. Es wird wohl ein Kampf sich für 3 Peronen zu entscheiden die ich dann als "gut" evaluieren kann.

Bis jetzt ist das Pädiatrie-Tertial im AKH recht vielversprechend.

Yesterday I did a nightshift at the local doctor response service together with my friend Michi[:-)] [http://www.topfen.net/user/michi] and Dr Tanzmeister, a fine physician I'm glad to have met.

The Doctor Response Service ('Ärztefunkdienst') is a service operated by the Medical Association of Vienna and provides medical care by General Practitioners during off-hours (8pm - 8am, weekends and legal holidays).
